Welcome from the president:

 

Welcome! I'm so glad you found your way to the Photographic Society of Orange County (PSOC).

 

We started back in 1992 with just eight members who shared a love of photography. Now we have grown into a thriving photography community based in Fountain Valley, CA.

 

Whatever your experience level, you'll fit right in here. Our membership includes people who picked up a camera recently, those who photograph with only a cellphone, skilled and not so skilled amateurs and even some seasoned professionals.

 

At the heart of it, PSOC is about learning together in a relaxed, welcoming environment with no competition and no pressure. We’re simply people who love photography and have a desire to share knowledge.

 

Each month, we bring in outside experts to offer supportive critique for members who want feedback on their work. We also have a field trip each month to great local spots, and twice a year we plan longer field trips to explore outside of the immediate area, as a group.  Check out the Newsletter located on this site and you will see what we are up to right now.
